My second day at primary school

My new school is very big...much bigger than my old school.  I don't know my teacher, I don't know anyone in my class, I don't know how to go home.  But I try to be brave.  My mummy told me that if I'm really, really, really scared, I can look for her in the canteen.  If she is not there, she is in the toilet.  So, I felt better.

Today, my daddy drove me to school and helped me with my very heavy bag.  Thanks, Daddy!  He told me that mummy will be here during break time.   But during break time, I didn't see her until my second piece of bread.  Maybe she is just taking a long time in the loo.  Maybe she couldn't find me.  Can you spot me?

I'm a big 4 year old boy!

Claire was fantastic on her first day at primary school yesterday.   Today is my turn.

Here I am, a big 4 year old K1 boy, with my trusty blue bag, on my way to school.

My cousin Sophie will be joining Caden and I at school.  I have to take care of her just like how Claire took care of me when I was in N1.  I will be a good big brother!

Many firsts

It's been an exciting day.

It's the first time I see Claire in her new uniform. It's my first time in a big children school with many blocks and a garden and a basketball court. It's my first time playing detective, trailing subject - Claire's big and white school bus.

All these because it's Claire's first day in primary school. She did a great job and I'm very proud of her.  Mummy and daddy too.

Magnetic Wisdom

Last night, my daddy was in a state of shock after one of my questions.

"Daddy!  Can I ask you a question?"
"Yes, what?"
"Err.. Why can one never be too rich, too thin or have too many shoes?"
silence......
"Where did you hear that one from?"

I still have not got an answer.  Maybe this one is really difficult....

Happy Holidays!

This year, the whole family got together to decorate, including David. Even my daddy helped a little.

Happy Deepavali everyone!

We celebrated Deepavali in school yesterday.

Claire and I went in our spanking new Indian outfits and had some muruku. We even got henna drawn.

Mine is the coolest of course.

Daddy, please join us next time.

Fire!

David and I put this together after our daddy showed us his photos from a long time ago.

Can you guess what it is?
