Hari Raya Outing

Claire-claire loves big buses. Yesterday, Claire-claire gets to dress up and sit on one. My mama says it's the best way to get around as taxis will be scarce on Hari Raya Day.

As a bonus, Claire-claire gets to sit on the train as well!

Everyone tells Claire-Claire that I look like my mama, even this supposed scientific tool.

Chocolate Surprise

Last week, Claire-claire saw some chocolates left on my Yee-yee's table. So when she was not looking, Claire-claire grabbed as many as I could and squeezed as many as my tiny mouth can hold. Emmm! Claire-claire has never tried them before but chocolates are yummy! No wonder my Yee-yee doesn't want to share them with me.

Very quickly and quietly, Claire-claire hid in a corner to eat them. Unfortunately, my Ah-ma came to check on Claire-claire! Arrgh!!! Ah-ma saw my chocolated-laced mouth and those in my hands. In a flash, my Yee-yee and Ah-ma took the two in my hands. And dug four out from my mouth! Never mind that, Claire-claire still have one hidden deep inside. Let's run away with it!

Oh no! Here comes my Ah-ma! Hmm..how did she know I have one more? Claire-claire struggled to keep my mouth shut, but in vain. Now, Claire-claire has none...

(Note from Claire-claire's papa: There are no photos because all hands are needed on deck. You probably can imagine all this happened in a flash.)

But Claire-claire has a photo! Everybody! Please help Claire-claire keep a lookout for this next time!

Mag-Mag 2.0

Claire-claire loves my orange Mag-Mag. Firstly, it looks cute. And my mama says it keeps me hydrated. Last week, my Mag-Mag got an "upgrade". Mama, now that Claire-claire has learnt how to use a straw, maybe there'll be less spills and wet necks with this one!

A new taste sensation

Claire-claire discovers chappati!
One afternoon, Claire-claire noticed my papa and mama preparing a new type of food. My papa called it chappati and dhal. Claire-claire insisted on trying, and luckily my mama allowed me to try some.

It was delicious! And best of all, Claire-claire can play with it first before stuffing it into my mouth. Wish Claire-claire had more space in my mouth!

Next time, Claire-claire also wants to try the other round pancake that the Indian uncle flips over and over.

My Neighbour

Claire-claire likes my neighbour. Her name is Girl-girl. We have been friends for as long as Claire-claire can remember. (My papa says that is not very long...)

Girl-girl is very clever. She never fails to let us know when there are strangers along the corridor. Good job, Girl-girl!

Big girl now!

My mama says Claire-claire is one year old and is a big girl now. My papa agrees and says that Claire-claire is now 77.5 cm and 10.1 kg.

When Claire-claire was born, I was only 55 cm and 3.87kg. This is how I looked like then.

Perhaps they are right. Look! Claire-claire can even wear my mama's shorts. Don't you think they look nice on me?
